Come vote for me as the cutest baby in America! Here is the link:

Search for: Peyton with the caption: Birthday girl. In order for your vote to count, you need to confirm the email that will be sent back to your email address. Only a few weeks left in December to vote and you can vote once per day! Mommy thinks it would be really fun if I won, but the $2500 prize wouldn't hurt either!
Today was my 15 month well child check up and shots. We spent a lot of time in the waiting room where I flirted with a 9 month old girl named Ava. I kept signing something to Mommy but it didn't look anything like baby but I was very insistent. After a few minutes Mommy figured out I was signing duck because there was a duck toy hanging from Ava's stroller. Mommy just needs to pay closer attention - I knew what I was saying!
I was up to 17 lbs 13 ozs and 29 inches today. Although I am nowhere close to other kids my age in weight and height, I am maintaining my growth curve and that is what is important. Mommy asked Dr Emge about my future growth and based on Mommy and Daddy's height I should be about 5'7" give or take two inches either way - so as much as 5'9" or as little as 5'5". Dr Emge is a little doubtful I will be that tall but wants Mommy to follow up with the geneticist to verify if short stature is part of the syndrome. Potentially there could be growth hormone shots in my future (yuck - more shots!). I took my two shots without too much complaining and on the way home fell fast asleep!

  1. Good morning sunshine,
You've got our vote over and over again, and we'll ask friends and family to vote also!I don't know how mommy could choose between all your pictures, but this is a favorite of mine!

  2. You obviously have my vote, as I am the one who told your mom to enter your photo in the contest! I am keeping my fingers crossed that you take first place, you're definitely the cutest picture out there!

Glad that you are signing so well, I am sure it is wonderful for mommy and daddy to know what you are thinking and saying. Although I am still not ready for Jackson to grow up, I am excited to be able to communicate with him once he is able to tell me what he wants.

    Love you! Happy Sunday!
