Sunday, June 22nd, 2008

This is a picture of me sleeping - of which I did precious little of this entire weekend. On Sunday, Mommy's back muscles on her left side (where she always carries me) were killing her so Daddy had her go rest several times during the day while he took care of me. I was extra happy today, but only took 1/2 hour nap all day.

In the evening I was getting a little restless so my parents took me and my brothers on a walk. There have been a lot of fires in the area so it was kind of smokey outside so it wasn't a long walk but we were all glad to get out and stretch our legs.

By 7 pm I was exhausted. My parents did my trach change and I was asleep by 7:15. Mommy breathed a sigh of relief, I was down for the night. Just kidding!!! By 8 pm I was awake and refreshed from my nap. When Marianne showed up at 10 I was still rolling around in my crib, finally going to sleep a little after 11. My parents aren't sure what this phase is but they hope it ends soon!

  1. Hi Peyton,
It was wonderful seeing pictures of you anyway we can get them again. It sounds like your sleep patterns during the day are changing a bit, maybe your just so happy to be out of that hospital and feeling better you want to stay awake as much as possible!I can't say as I blame you! Whatever the reason sweet baby we're so happy to know your happy and doing
so well! It's cool your mommy and daddy bought you some fun new toys,
but leave some for family members
to buy for your birthday in August, okay?
Tell mommy I got transferred and so called promoted(this just tells
you how desperate my boss is)to Fashion Place Mall starting this week! It will be the largest volume
store I've managed and to say I'm
not excited about it is an under statement.Tell mommy I'll call her
tonight and tell her more about it
after I go over there today and scope it out.Wish your old granma
luck on this one Peyton because I'm
    going to need it!
    Much love honey,
    Granpa and Granma Mower

  2. Your picture looks great, and I can't believe how much you look like Traiton here! Mom (Grandma Mower) says that all the time, but I really haven't noticed it until now.

Your face is filling out great, and your chin looks wonderful! Can't believe how much your profile has changed! Hope your mom gets her camera back soon, she's going to need it in Salt Lake.

    Love you!
