After the zoo trip yesterday and some other errands, today we stuck closer to home. Although I did convince my parents to take me to the park twice today to get some time in on the swing.
While Mommy was taking a nap, Daddy let me help paint his nails on one hand and he even work it out to get his hair cut before removing it - what a great Daddy I have!

  1. Good morning Peyton,
What a busy and fun weekend you had. We're so excited you got to go to the zoo for the first time. The pictures mommy and daddy took are great.I especially liked the one mommy took of you and daddy thru the tiger cage!It looked as though you had a great time even though you had a tumble. It's nice to see your weather cooling off a little bit so you can do so many fun outside activites.
It sounds as though mommy and daddy are going to have something
of a dilemma on their hands to get you into your Halloween costume.Maybe mommy could come up with some cute Halloween video(age appropriate of course)for you to watch to get you into the mood. When your mommy and daddy were little they watched one with Charlie Brown and maybe now their is something with Elmo you could watch.Worse case scenario mommy and daddy may have to come up with costumes to wear for the big night
and start practicing wearing them now to get you in the mood.
Have a wonderful day today.Be sure and call your great grandma
and wish her a good birthday.Hearing your sweet little voice will make it even better!
    Hugs and kisses,
    Granpa and Granma Mower

  2. I never have this problem with Traiton. He loves Halloween and dressing up in costumes. He still plays with his sheep costume from last year. Show Peyton all the cute kids in their costumes on the Tom Arma website. Clifford the big red dog has a really cute Halloween movie and Target sells it for five dollars. Try painting lady bugs on pumpkins, drawing lady bugs with her markers, and make them out of construction paper. This will get her excited about lady bugs and hopefully she’ll want to pretend she is one. I agree with Grandma Mower, have the whole family dress up. We are all dressing up. Jason doesn’t know it yet, but he’ll do anything his little monster wants.
