I don't really understand, but Mommy says today is the 7th anniversary of a very sad day. She said that when sad days like this happen, people always remember where they were and what they were doing. She explained to me that it is unfortuate that such a terrible tragedy had to happen - but when things like this happen there are often wonderful things that come out of it. She remembers that for some time after 9/11/01, that people were nicer to each other, they appreciated their family and friends more, and they were grateful for what they had. Seven years later, most of that has gone away. Maybe briefly today, though, as everyone is remembering the past, they will remember those feelings as well. Peyton Nicole Smith
Can NOT believe it has been seven years since the New York tragedy occurred, and I hope that you never have to experience a tragedy of this magnitude in your lifetime.
