Mommy had been hoping for a spit free day now that I am on my new formula but unfortunately, I spit up in the midst of my 2 pm feeding today so Lucille stopped the feeding to prevent any more. The rest of the day was pretty uneventful but Mommy was a little disappointed. She is going to give the formula a few more days just to make sure.

  1. Tracy,
Peyton is growing so fast! She sure has striking eyes with those long eyelashes to enhance them. I just have to tell you that you are truly a super mom, and the proof comes in the daily updates of pictures on this blog-site! She is progressing well, and if anyone deserves the credit, I am sure it is you! Peyton is very lucky to have you as her mommy, caregiver, and #1 FAN (next to Aunt Kristin). Make sure you take a little time for yourself here and there, and know that a lot of people, some who know you and some who don't, care about you and your family. Kudos on your dedication to Peyton's website too! Hope you have a very Merry Christmas in Utah, and a Happy New Year!

  2. Hi Peyton...
I was so touched to read the letter Mommy wrote to Peyton Manning, she is very courageous and the best MOM anyone could have. Tell Mommy she needs to take a little time out for herself...enjoy the goodie basket we sent for Christmas, have a glass of wine, have a bubblebath, pamper herself just a little bit...Tell Mom she is the best at giving us the inside scoop on what goes on in the Smith household!!!
    See you soon

    forward to meeting you

  3. Tracy,
Peyton is truly an amazing little girl, but it is because she has such an amazing Mom. You are such an amazing person and you are an inspriation to every one! Everytime I read the blog, I cant help but think what a special mommy you are and what a gift you are to your baby girl. I hope that you take some mommy time, as hard as that is, but you truly deserve it. Keep up the wonderful updates, it is so fun to see how fast Peyton is growing.

  5. Dear Tracy,
You truly are an inspiration to many of us. You are a wonderful mother and Peyton is so incredibly lucky to have you. You too are incredibly lucky to have her. As you stated in your letter to Mr. Manning, she will make it through all of her upcoming challenges and those around her will be better for it. That is so true, although I'm sure your constant care and worry for her make it extremely difficult at times, this tiny little 10 lb. baby has taught you more in the short time she has been with you than most of us have the privilege of learning in an entire lifetime and with this incredible insight you have become so much more compassionate and have the ability to appreciate the trials of every person. Trials always either make you bitter or better and it is very clear that both you and Travis have chosen to be better. Kudos to both of you for all you do for your beautiful baby each and every day and especially for all the little things you do for her and the time you spend with her. I was so happy to see her beautiful eyes. She has the most vibrant baby blues and with all that wonderful dark hair and those beautiful eyebrows...she is absolutely beautiful.
I want you to know that you are an inspiration to me as a mother. You are an amazing individual and I'm sure you and Travis are going to be the reason Peyton is going to absolutely thrive over these next few years. She is incredibly lucky to have such a team working on her behalf (her Auntie Kristin, remains both your and Peyton's biggest advocate).
Have a wonderful holiday! What an amazing gift you have been given in little Peyton and you and your family have touched the lives of so many and inspired us all. Thank you for being you and keep up the good work and know how much that darling baby appreciates all you do for her. I can't possibly express how impressive you are to me because nothing is more impressive than a wonderful mother and you definitely are that. Peyton is so proud of you and so are so many of us!
    Sincerely,
    Traci Salinas (Kristin's friend)
