In case you haven't heard, Daddy does not like headbands. But Mimi, my night nurse got me a few outfits and one included a headband. So before Daddy got up this morning Mommy had it on me. Daddy still doesn't like headbands, but on me he thinks they are pretty cute.

Mommy found some headphones today designed for kids. My parents decided to hook up Mommy's iPod and see what I thought. At first the music must have been too loud because I started crying. Eventually, though, I settled into a nice groove with John Cougar Mellancamp and relaxed.

It was another no-spit today and I spent most of happily in my swing. Here's hoping the formula really is working!

  1. Peyton,
Tell daddy he is not alone on the headband thing. My daughter could never wear them either cause her daddy thought they would squish her head. I do love the elephant headphones. They are so cute. Well I hope that you stay spit up free. Sounds like it is going good so far. Have a safe flight to SLC.

  2. Don't know what your daddy's problem is, but I LOVE the headbands! They accentuate your great hair, and he's just going to have to get used to the hair decorations, they look great on you!

LOVE the headphones, can't wait to download Dolly Partons "Hard Candy Christmas", you'll be hooked! Wait until you hear some real music, like Counting Crows, John Mayer, and Pete Yorn, you'll be addicted!

One more day baby girl! Your room awaits, and it's such a great set up, I like to call it "Peyton's Palace".
