Look how big my belly is getting! Mommy and Daddy are amazed at how big and round it is now.

So yesterday, I slept pretty much all day. Today I was awake almost all day. I just can't settle on a routine. Lucille said even though I didn't really sleep much I was a very happy girl and content to swing or watch my mobile.

The granulation tissue around my button is almost gone, but as a result now my button doesn't fit so good. Mommy and Daddy have tried a few different things to make it a tighter fit but it will probably be loose until they go back in again the beginning of December. They figure at that time the doctor will probably want to replace it with a smaller one.

My parents started reducing the time I am getting my feeds today and have a plan through mid-December to slowly get it down to 20 minutes. I only had one spit up today for Lucille so hopefully I will continue to tolerate it well.

Mommy has been working more with me and my binki. In the hospital I would take the purple newborn one but at home I wasn't taking to it too well. My mommy had ordered the next size up (green) and tried that with me instead and I seem to like it better. She also ordered a Waubbanub with the green pacifier and I am starting to like that too - you can see a picture of it above. I can suck on my bink and hold the stuffed animal at the same time.

  2. Peyton,

It took awhile, but your Grandpa and I are finally able to see your precious pictures. What a smart mommy you have, to be writing and showing us pictures and stories that let us share in your daily life. Your mommy is doing such a good job of sharing thoughts and moments that tell us the kind of little girl you are fast becoming.

You look so tiny when your daddy is holding you, and when mommy is holding you I see her in your eyes. Watching my baby, holding her baby, has got to be one of the best moments in life. We're holding you in our hearts until we can hold you in our arms.

    Our love,

    Grandpa and Grandma Mower

  3. I loved the essay about Holland! There are so many things that happen in life that are not just the way we plan, but I love the thought about moving forward and enjoying all the great things about the new plan. Peyton looks so BIG! What a little girl she is in her jeans :)
