Happy Hanukkah! OK actually Hanukkah began on December 1st but it lasts until December 9th this year. This is my second year celebrating Hanukkah with Uncle Jeff. This year Viv was gracious enough to allow us to enjoy the festivities at her house. Uncle Jeff was a little horrified I think to see the Hanukkah gifts nestled under the Christmas tree but it is her first Hanukkah after all! Instead of a traditional Jewish meal we had take out from Panda but we did play with the dreidel and light the menorah so Uncle Jeff's mother would be proud!

My first gift was the hot potato game. I wasn't entirely sure I was sold on it so the adults passed it around. When I ended up with it they all let out a big cheer and at that I wanted nothing to do with the potato for the rest of the night! I got some Christmas books and some books about Hanukkah too. Hooray for Hanukkah!
