It's New Year's Eve! Despite it being a big deal and all, I didn't make it past 8:30 tonight. I was awfully tired after playing with my parents and my brothers for several hours.
Daddy had the day off so my parents snuck out for lunch together late in the afternoon since they rarely get any time together by themselves.
Mommy remembers waking up to the sound of honking (and Daddy thinks gunfire) at midnight. She gave Daddy a kiss, said Happy New Year and was back to sleep. Not a lot of excitement in our house this year but we were glad to spend it together.
We are praying for Great Grandpa Gil who is in the hospital in Vancouver. Hope you feel better soon Grandpa!

ReplyDeleteHope all of you are enjoying the new year. Peyton...you are as cute as always. I saw your Uncle Jason over the weekend and he gave me a hug and congratulated me on my engagement. He sure is full of surprises!! I think that is one of the first hugs he as ever given me. He used to always make me cry. One day i'm sure he will tell you all about it.
Hope you are able to make it to Salt Lake soon. I know your Aunt Kristin is more than ready to see you!!
