I had a couple of really good days playing with my parents, the dogs and Lucille. I am having a hard time getting to sleep at night - there are so many exciting things to do and see now that I would much rather be awake.Today the DME company dropped off my speaking valve. You can find out more about it at the website below. Basically it makes me breathe a little differently so I can "speak" through the valve. Mommy and Daddy are going to experiment a little this weekend with me. If it goes well they will gradually increase the time. If I don't tolerate it well, then they will wait and have a specialist from the agency come out and work with us.
