It has become an annual tradition to go to Brighton Ski Resort for the 4th of July parade. This year we didn't bother with the pancake breakfast but we did take in a quick walk around the lake while we waited for the parade to begin. As usual Jackson and I could hardly contain our excitement for the candy throwing and this year did not disappoint as we ended up with lots of candy! It was a beautiful day despite the remains of some smoke hanging in the air after a terrible early fire season. The best part was when I got to get in the fire truck!
