My parents tried to distract me tonight before brushing my teeth by asking me to recite numbers 1 -10. Mommy would show me the ASL sign for each number in order and I covered my trach and off we went! Some numbers came out clearly and others were a little harder to understand but there was no doubt that I knew each one of them (my parents tested me several times just to make sure it wasn't beginners luck!)Peyton Nicole Smith
